Standing in the Spotlight
| #self-confidence |
I have some friends
that they are actually love to be invisible. I don’t even know why. I’ve tried
to take them away from their comfort zone into the world of spotlight. But they
always resist it. As a good friend I don’t care what they say, well, I want
them to be better, if I listen to them and stop trying, what kind of friend am
I? So in every school subjects I tell them to do what they can do.
I always tell them to go further! I know
everybody has their own limitations. But all I want is just for them to do and
be their best! What kind of normal person that doesn’t want to be the best?
Although, yeah, I have to admit that sometimes I got myself hiding on the back
stage when I can actually be the star.
All teachers and
friends had told me to bring myself up. To show them what I got. I actually
would love to and really want to take the chances but I just feel like, what if
something would go wrong? What if I can’t do my best on stage? What if they
wouldn’t be impressed? I know exactly what you feel. But we got to make some moves
around here to get ourselves known by other. Here are some tips to be confident:
1. Recognize
your talents and good qualities and write them down.
2. Think
of the obstacles that stand in the way of your confidence.
3. Remember
that everyone struggles with confidence.
4. See
confidence as a process, not a singular achievement.
5. Smile.
6. Embrace
your interests.
7. Build
your confidence by helping others.
8. Drop those who bring you down.
9. Expect
success.
10. Take
risks.
There they are. So
I hope ALL OF US could be more confident but keep it in mind that you shouldn’t
ever over-doing it! Okay, I think that’s all. I hope this writing of minds cans
really blinding up our bottles!
Cheerio!
